Toledo is a magic city where its own streets become a scenario and muse for artists.
These streets and the bank of the Tagus River were an inspiration to both Garcilaso de la Vega, the renaissance knight, and the romantic Bécquer to write some of the great poems, in the case of the first one, and many of the enigmatic legends in the case of the second one.
From the City's Tourist Department these free routes are presented for the Thursday and Saturday nights during July and August, and they suggest to visitors a walk along the best scenarios in a very special atmosphere such as the night in Toledo, a magic environment that was an inspiration to those great geniuses of classic Spanish literature.
