The Santo Tomé Parish has many years experience in artistic patronage. Furthermore, this is not the first time it has promoted top quality artistic works, among others in the 16th century the parish priest Andrés Núñez of Madrid commissioned El Greco to paint what would turn out to be the Cretan painter's masterpiece, El Entierro del Señor de Orgaz (1586).
In the heart of the 21st century, via the Fundación "Pedalier", a non-profit marking civil organisation was created in the Church of Santo Tomé , a new cultural horizon, adding new value to its Organ and inviting the best interpreters to this end.

The International Festival of Organ Music which takes place in Santo Tomé, aims to offer high quality concert music. To this end it has been found high quality interpreters.
